OUR STORY

Glitz & Glamour Foundation Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by Denise M. Sanders in honor of her best friend, Tezra Grace Roberts, who lost her battle with breast cancer at just 32 years old.

What began in 2010 as a small charity fashion show with 60 guests has grown into a powerful movement of awareness, education, and empowerment. Denise’s vision was simple but heartfelt: to celebrate survivors, honor those we’ve lost, and provide support to anyone navigating the breast cancer journey.

Over the years, the Glitz & Glamour Foundation has expanded from a single fashion show into a community-driven force, hosting annual galas, survivor parades, and awareness events that draw hundreds of attendees. Through every event, fundraiser, and resource shared, the mission remains the same: to uplift, inspire, and walk alongside breast cancer survivors and thrivers in Indiana and beyond.

Tezra Grace-Roberts

A rare jewel, a diamond, and a precious, beautiful ruby is how many would describe Tezra. She was a dear friend to many, a loving mother to her boys John and Justin, a caring wife to her husband Anthony, and a woman of courageous strength until her passing at the young age of 32.

After being diagnosed in 1998 Tezra stood on her most holy Faith, praying and believing and seeking God for complete healing. Her spirit was like no other as it could not be broken; as she was always flashing her million dollar smile that brightens a gloomy day. She loved God and praised him continuously.

She shall forever live in paradise with her Lord. Her life will always remain a testimony of LOVE, Strength, and Courage!
